Our Story
We are two people, two dogs and a laundry room. Here's how we got here and why we do it this way.
The question we kept coming back to
Why does choosing a dog for the next fifteen years come down to a photo and an e-transfer?
We've watched it go wrong too many times to call it rare. A high-drive pup ends up in a quiet condo. A nervous one lands in a house with four kids and a front door that never stops. Nobody in those stories is a bad person. The match was just wrong, and by the time anyone says it out loud the dog is eight months old and everybody feels awful.
So we run it backwards. You tell us how your house actually works, then we tell you which puppy belongs in it. Every single puppy here is adorable — that's exactly why adorable is useless as a way to choose.
In practice that means both parents tested before we breed, the same work put into every litter, a real scored evaluation at seven weeks, and us occasionally telling a lovely family no. It costs us sales. We've never once regretted it.

What the cross gives you
A Poodle's brain and coat on a Bernese heart. Which means a dog that learns fast, barely sheds, and would genuinely rather be leaning against your leg than doing literally anything else.
They adapt, within limits
They'll hike Kananaskis with you on Saturday and do nothing at all on Sunday. What they cannot do is sit alone in an empty house from eight to six. If that's your week, tell us now and we'll be straight with you.
Good with kids, and heavy
Soft-mouthed, patient, endlessly tolerant of small hands. Also 60 to 90 pounds. A thrilled eight-month-old will flatten your toddler on the kitchen floor without a shred of bad intent. Plan for it.
Our Philosophy
Three rules. We've never broken one and we're not about to start.
You see everything. Parent health results, what each panel actually tested for, and your puppy's real scores — including the ones that make our job harder. If we're hiding a number from you, why are we hiding it?
You get prepared before you pay, not after. Nearly everything that falls apart in month one is something we could have warned you about in week two. So we warn you in week two.
And we would rather lose the sale than place the wrong dog.
